Getting started with Daml, adding a new feature!

I was finally able to create the first feature in the app. It was challenging, but I managed to do it!

Congratulations Alice, it is an interesting exercise isn’t it? When I did it in March, I was quite surprised at how simple it was to make a toy Social Media chat using Daml

Keep working through the documentation, and asking questions

• Keep your eyes on where you are within a directory at any one time, especially when using an IDE
• Now you have been successful, go through every directory and file in the Social Media app to see how a Daml project like this is structured

It’s really interesting and I’m try to learn this programming language for my MSc dissertation project. So I’ll definitely keep on learning. I hope it will be good!
