Disaster Recovery procedures on Daml Hub - Compliance

Is there any information that can be made publicly available on implemented back-up and recovery procedures existent on Daml Hub, such as the regularity of executed backups and SLAs on the recovery procedures?

Great questions!

  • We take regular backups of all data (user ledgers, artifacts, and all other data) four times a day, or every six hours. These backups are encrypted at rest and securely transmitted to infrastructure outside of the cluster (we use Kubernetes).
  • We regularly test our ability to recover from a disaster—our longer-than-usual maintenance windows are, in fact, generally us testing that exact scenario!
